Whew! Cardi B is back in court, and the tea is scalding hot. According to testimony this week, the Bronx rapper allegedly went full WWE on a Beverly Hills security guard back in 2018—while she was four months pregnant!
The guard, Emani Ellis, claims Cardi spit on her, body-shamed her, threw out racial slurs, and even scratched her face so badly with her nails that she needed plastic surgery. Not acrylics, not press-ons—Cardi’s real nails, allegedly sharp enough to double as courtroom exhibits.
Ellis told the court the altercation was “traumatizing” and left her dealing with emotional and physical scars. Baby, she basically said she’s been fighting invisible demons ever since.
Now, Cardi isn’t rolling over with this. She says Ellis was the aggressor, claiming the guard tried to record her without permission as she walked into a doctor’s office. According to Cardi, it was all verbal, no hands (or nails) involved.
Her lawyers even called out “inconsistencies” in Ellis’s story—like whether the scratch was on the left or right side of her face, and what really happened with the phone. In short: this trial is giving reality-TV energy we didn’t sign up for but can’t stop watching.
And yes, sis—we’re gonna see Cardi herself take the stand. You know she’s not going to hold back.
